The Live Recording Audio is off a bit as I had to use a backup source.  We had major technical difficulties at the start to bring all the social media platforms together, but we got it sorted.

This week's podcast is a full-on sensory experience, as we give you the scoop on the forthcoming Rolling Bone magazine, packed with doggone delightful features and music by Vultures of Parliament.

Folks from all over the world share their pet stories for a hour of wholesome live entertainment.   Yes Bunsen found a mooseleg.

You can catch Pet Chat live every Saturday at 8PM Mountain Time on X, Facebook, and Instagram!

Speaker 1:

Leg season has begun. Oh my god. No, hi all. The pup date is back after a week break. Sometimes I just run out of time to get stuff done.

Speaker 1:

Chris and I have had two very busy teaching weeks. I had parent teacher interviews midweek and Chris had multiple late nights with after school events. Silly day job. We have some really fun things coming up, so let's just get to it. Chris and I have booked a flight to go and see the total eclipse. We chose Dallas as the Texas weather is least likely to have a bunch of clouds and it was cheaper than flying further east for us. I've never seen a total eclipse. I don't think Chris has either, and the next time I have never seen a total eclipse and the next time one will happen where we live is in like 600 years, so it's a bucketless thing to go and see. We finally received the pup version of the Bunsen and Beaker Activity Book, which is aimed at a younger audience. We heard that folks would love an activity book for kids just learning to read, so we worked really hard on incorporating more coloring mazes and visual games. We tested it on the littles in our family and they gave us five stars. Just kidding, they ranked it up there with apple juice and cookies. Lastly, we are putting the final touches on a Rolling Bone magazine. This variety magazine is a spoof of Rolling Stone and will feature dogs from our community and, of course, beaker and Vultures of Parliament. It will release later this month alongside two new songs from Vultures of Parliament.

Speaker 1:

Leg season officially began with the first leg of the season drug out of the melt by Bunsen. He was gleeful and bounced away with his prize. Bunsen and Beaker are doing well, as his ginger Adam is killing it in college and our family continues the march through march and into spring. Oh, and Norbert is still kicking it. Life is good and we're blessed to share the bits. Life is good and we're blessed to share bits of it with you. Our favorite social media posts of the week. Okay, of course it's text from Bunsen. And then I was on TV last week yeah, I got called up to be on the news and they had a little cute Pie Day thing, which is a special YouTube video that they put out. So there's a link there. And of course, some Pie Day stuff with the dogs. And then on TikTok we got some a little cute video there about Pie.

Speaker 1:

All right, we're in the science podcast corner and there's a link to our latest episode. A quick plug for a Pop Pack Plus. So that's the main way that Chris and I have. You know, we monetize what we do. We have a community of people that support us and it's like Patreon, but so much better. So there's a link to join. We would love for you to join the Pop Pack Plus. There's three different tiers and it's a great way to support our content and our audio shows and the science podcast.

Speaker 1:

In the science corner, there's a really cool trailer for the Bones featuring or you know, it has Dr Nazir Ibrahim in it. We've talked, we've spoke to him a couple times. He was a guest on the science podcast and a guest on SciChat and he's the paleontologist that discovered Spinosaurus and he's the paleontologist that discovered Spinosaurus. Then, at the end, we have some fun deals and products. You got to check out the Pop Pack Journal that we have. It's adorable. It has one page that's lined and one page that's blank. We got a shipment of new Bunsen and Beaker pens in. They're awesome too. And that's it. So we'll see you all next week.
